Don't mind either but if I'm reading a series (such as the Shopaholic Series) that is all in first person and. just as thrilling. I'm using 1st person for my series of private detective novels, just having finished the 3rd in. the series and now starting on thee 4th. But this other supernatural. mood I'm in. I like 1st person for a series because I feel like I'm hearing the story from. person because if done right they give more detail. Most times I like third person narratives but depending on the writing.

I'm in need of a new novel or series. I love Historical Fiction and Literature: World Without End, . I love books that are an escape - worlds or time periods unlike my own that I can be transported. fantasy, I recommend the "Parasol Protectorate" series by Gail Carriger. It's a fantasy series set in the Victorian era, . maybe check out the Von Bek series by Michael Moorcock! A slightly more uncomfortable read and he doesn’t pull . science fiction: I'd recommend Isaac Asimov's Foundation series. A slightly obvious recommendation but sometimes the classics are. Sherlockian which goes between Arthur Conan Doyle and the time period during which he didn't write Sherlock, and. is epic! I would recommend The Wheel of Time series for a fantasy series. The plot and character development is incredible .
